PetSmart Coupon Shopping Trip – 80% Savings!
Saving money with coupons does not have to be confined to the grocery store! I had to make a trip to the pet store this week and while I was there I decided to take advantage of a couple of deals.
I had a coupon for Free Purina Roasted Slices (freebie from a while back) that was about to expire and I hadn’t found this product anywhere else. I couldn’t find any of the Nylabones that were on sale as low as I had posted, but I decided to go ahead and pick up a couple of the chews anyway for my sweet dog. I also got a couple bags of Nutro dog food for $1.99 each.
Total Spent: $6.56
Total Saved: $25.89 (80%)
I was very happy about this shopping trip because we always need dog food and the pet food deals have been pretty blah lately. Oh, and my dog went absolutely crazy over those roasted slices!

I actually got very lucky with the Nylabones! They had the Nylabone Healthy Living dog chew for puppies (1 ct) on sale for 77 cents. Since the coupon was for $1.50 off I asked the cashier what was their policy and she told me I could actually grab 2 per coupon if I wanted to pay the 4 cents…so I grabbed 4 and guess what? Inside they had more coupons, $2 off but since it states $2/2 I didnt want to push my luck too much and continue doing the same deal.

Petco, Petsmart and Pet Supplies Plus take competitor coupons. So I often stack whoever has the best deals with the coupons they mail and email! (Throw in a few manufacturer coupons and you can get some very cheap for and litter!)
