This is such a popular learning toy right now, both in schools/daycares and at home.
If you’re not familiar with them, these are basically multi-colored translucent shapes with magnetic edges. They can be magnetized together to build all sorts of 3D structures, or stacked up against a window or light to demonstrate what different colors make when combined.
Those are just a few of the ways I’ve used them, but the possibilities are truly endless.
They help children to develop a strong sense of color, recognize geometric shapes, even discover magnetic polarities and architectural design! Some of that might sound advanced if you have a toddler, but I’ve seen 3-year-olds entertain themselves for an hour with these. It’s never too early to start introducing these ideas!
