8 Simple 5-Ingredient Overnight Oats Recipes

If you’re still completely clueless as to what overnight oats are, then look no further. Overnight oats are the easy meal-prep version of your favorite oatmeal. You add ingredients to a jar (oatmeal included) and keep in your fridge overnight and you grab them in the morning and go. No hot water or heating needed! The oatmeal soaks up all the liquid overnight and it’s a delicious meal to wake up to.

Here are some great recipes for overnight oats that are 5 ingredients or less – couldn’t be any easier!

  1. Overnight Vanilla Oats via Sweetphi. Oats, Flax Seed, Brown Sugar, Yogurt, and Walnuts. You had me at Brown Sugar!
  2. Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats via Jessica in the Kitchen. Oats, Apples, Cinnamon, Milk, and Maple Syrup. I love apple cinnamon anything and maple syrup usually only makes things better.
  3. Peanut Butter and Banana Overnight Oats via Smile Sandwich. Oats, Peanut Butter, Milk, Sweetener, and Bananas. If Elvis Presley was still alive, this would probably be his favorite overnight oat!
  4. Pumpkin Overnight Oats via Sweetphi. Oaks, Milk, Pumpkin Puree, Maple Syrup, and Pumpkins Pie Spice. For all the pumpkin lovers, this looks amazing.
  5. Fruit on the Bottom Overnight Oats via Sweet Peas and Saffron. Oats, Maple Syrup, Thawed Fruit (any kind!), Chia Seeds, Milk. I could see a berry one of these being amazing!
  6. Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats via Hello Spoonful. Oats, Chia Seeds, Strawberry Greek Yogurt, Protein Shake of your choice, Fresh Strawberries. Who knew the words strawberry and cheesecake would go with something that should be healthy for you. This looks and sounds absolutely phenomenal. Can’t wait to try this one.
  7. Chocolate Overnight Oats via Lyndi Cohen. Oats, Milk, Chia Seeds, Cacao, Maple Syrup. Another I may have to try. Anything chocolate is worth a try in my book.
  8. Blackberry Hazelnut Overnight Oats via Healthy Delicious. Oats, Bananas, Chia Seeds, Blackberries, Hazelnut Coconut Milk Creamer. This one cheats by telling you to add salt, which would be a 6th ingredient, but I assume you could leave that out.

There are so many recipes for this oh-so-popular breakfast trend and we can see why! Can you imagine if we included more than 5-ingredients? We’ll save that for another post!
