  1. Just spoke to a Kroger rep in Sherman and they will double and triple coupons as they have in the past BUT they now limit this to 3 coupons per like items. No more buying in bulks of more than 3!

  2. I just came back to the Kroger I shopped at in Plano. They doubled my coupons and I got $ 3.00 off for the BOGO on Suave x 2 – SWEET! So, I don’t know what’s going on in McKinney, but come down the road 15 minutes and you can get your coupons doubled.

Also, if you are a Splenda user, they have Splenda packets on sale for $ 3.99. There is a Splenda Essentials coupon on the Splenda website for $ 2.00 off. The 80 ct. 1g fiber packets are included in the sale, so if you use the $ 2.00 off you can pick up a box for $ 1.99. That’s a great deal!

Also spotted, Debbie Meyer green bags on manager special for $ 4.99 ea and Miur Glen Whole Organic Tomatoes – 24 oz. can on managers special for $ 1.89! YAY!! Love Miur Glen Tomatoes! I wish I had a coupon for those too.

  3. I was going to test this out at Kroger yesterday (Cedar Hill) but since there where hardly any deals, I mostly got manager markdowns. The only coupons I had to use were my $1/1 Lunchables w/ fruit (they were on sale for $2).

The pineapples that are on sale for $1 each are Del Monte Gold (at least at Cedar Hill Kroger they were, no brand is stated in the ad so I guess it might depend on the store) so you can buy 2 and use the $1.25/2 coupon from coupons.com to get 2 for $.75 (approximately $.38 each!). Of course I didn’t see this until AFTER I got home but hey pineapple is great for freezing and is delicious 🙂

    • @Sarah H., I printed out the coupons from their website and used them today. Try going to their website again, maybe they were reset. There’s a print limit of 2….

  5. Shellie, have you heard of the stores stopping the doubles and triples on coupons? I also live in the Frisco/McKinney area and was told by customer service today they no longer double or triple coupons at all. I noticed it a few days ago when a coupon didn’t triple even though my card scanned fine. Have you heard if any stores in the DFW area will continue to double and triple coupons?

    • @Rebecca, That’s what I said about if our Kroger ever stops doubling. Albertson’s is like 2 minutes (including the stop lights) down the street. The only reason I never go there is because Kroger usually has more great deals (which would go away without the doubling), better manager markdowns, and I don’t like the setup of the Albertson’s (which I would get over if I had to).

  6. For the Suave Body Wash deal, if you use the B1G1 coupon at my Kroger store (Indiana), it actually takes a full $3 off. I’ve done this three times at three different stores in our city. You buy two for 1.67 each, then when they scan that coupon, it automatically takes $3 off, which would mean you only pay 34c for 2! I’d say that’s more than Buy One Get One, that’s only 17c each!!! Very exciting 🙂

  7. I live in North Texas, and my cashier at Kroger last night informed me that starting today, no Krogers in the area would be doubling/tripling coupons. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

    Reply

    • I’m in North Texas too & my Kroger isn’t doubling or tripling after today or so they tell me. I think it’s all over the country but why didn’t they just quit all at once is my question.

I am in McKinney Texas and shop at the Kroger on South Lake Forest Drive.

      • @Patti, Lovely. I shop at the stores in Denison and Sherman, but I would have been willing to drive to McKinney if the deals were good enough. This is just frustrating.

        • @Brittany,

I shop in Sherman too and just went last night and was not told of this. I was planning on going tomorrow so I will have to find out. If this is true, I guess I won’t be shopping at Kroger anymore. I don’t think the deals are as good if the coupons don’t double or triple.

      • @Patti,
Patti, we went in to the Kroger on Lake Forest and they assured us that they would be continuing the double and triple couponing. Not sure where the confusion is.

    • @Brittany, I’m in the Houston area, and mine stopped doubling and tripling last month. Doesn’t make it worthwhile to use them there unless you have a 75 cents or up coupon. However, the e-coupons have been pretty good lately. At least they still honor their scan right guarantee. Things ring up wrong there all the time. Definitely keep an eye on things as they ring up. If you go to the courtesy booth afterward with your receipt, you will get your money back.

      • @Jennifer, Ours has stopped giving you your money back and they only give you the diffrence. Which is fine but I wish they would all follow the same policy. I am always surprised by the amount of products that ring up wrong it is crazy!

    • @Brittany,
That’s horrible news. I shop at the new Kroger Marketplace off 35W and the one on Rufe Snow. I’d hate to hear that. I just hope Albertsons isn’t soon to follow!!! Thanks for sharing. I’ll keep my eye out.

    • @Brittany, I shop at the store in Mesquite, and they are still doubling/tripling (as of last weekend), but they have put a limit of 3 coupons if they make the item free.

    • @Brittany, I shop in Beaumont TX and they stopped about 3 months ago. They said it would be spreading to other areas, but they said they would be giving some really great deals. We will see.

    • @Brittany,
I spoke with a cashier at Kroger yesterday, and they advised they are no longer doubling up to $1, instead they will double up to $.50, only. The ‘loadable’ coupons on your Plus Card also can no longer be combined with a Mfr coupon as well (which may only apply to my area, but I used to be able to combine). This is the only recent development in Louisville, KY that I am aware of…

      Reply

      • @Leigh-Anne, You were never supposed to combine the ecoupons with paper coupons (it has always been in the fine print of the ecoupons sites including Kroger) it’s just that Kroger’s system finally caught up to the policy where it will now realize that there is already an ecoupon used 🙂
