  2. Okay, I went to the kroger today for my planned shopping trip. I have to drive an HOUR one way to get there. First of all, the Daytona Deal is not buy 10 get $5 off, it is buy 10 get $3 off. Second, I had all my stuff planned out exactly because the last time I was at this kroger, they started limiting you to THREE like Q’s in a transaction. I was SO AGGRIVATED when i got up to the register and was told that as of TODAY, according to regional headquarters they are only accepting ONE LIKE Q and will only DBL or TPL ONE LIKE Q! So I had to restructure my whole shopping trip. OH! and I forgot to mention, they also don’t allow you to do multiple transactions either! You have to go put your groceries in teh car and then come back in and shop another whole shopping trip! I was FURIOUS! For example I had planned to buy 10 banquet meals and I had the 50/2 Q, well they would only allow me to use ONE Q at a time so I had to redo my whole darn shopping list and I ended up having to check out, go out to my car, come back in and start all over again SEVEN times! I really needed to do it 10 times to get everything I was wanting to use Q’s for but after doing that seven times and three hours later, I was exhausted!
HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF THIS???? They are saying it was a new regional policy passed down today???

I saved every single one of my receipts and I am going to do an evaluation/survey on each one of them and complain about this. WHY have a sale such as this and then limit you to how many you can use a Q on?? They didn’t have a problem letting someone who wasn’t using Q’s buy 10 banquet meals and 10 cans of ravioli all at once so WHY do the couponer that way????

naturesweet cherry tomato 2/$5 and there is a cpns.com Q out there for 50/1 makes them $1.50

    cottonelle 5.69 50/1 Q from cottonelle.com makes this 4.69

Country crock butter 2.39 cpns.com had a 40/1 which makes it 1.59 each and then a Q came out in one of the sunday inserts 1/1 which makes it 1.39

12 pk coke products 4/$11 and there was a Summer of Fun coke cpn $1/3 12 pks which makes them 2.50 each

  4. I’m pretty new to the couponing thing- my DH keeps saying he’s wanting the good food coupons- we have plenty of fabric softener, razors, pasta, and relish! lol Really glad to see the banquet meals- I’m not big into them but he eats them for a snack so it’s great! =) Thanks for the matchups!

  5. Oh also, the new $.75/1 OM coupon works with the sale and while getting your coupon, please do the Taste-a-monial because we’ll get a coupon that increases with value the more people that fill one out. If they reach 60,000, we’ll get a FREE coupon!

  6. They also have Purex detergent as part of the deal for $2.69. There is a coupon for $1/1 Purex with Zout. Not sure if that’s included in the sale but if it is, that is $1.69 per bottle 🙂 http://www.freesamplepurex.com/thankyoucoupon/

And the 3 Musketeers candy bars are on sale for $.50 at a lot of stores so that would be 2 free bars with the $.50/2 coupon

      • @Stephanie, lol better than me looking at the coupon RIGHT before I went up to the checkout lanes and still managing to forget them! haha not the first time I have done this either 😛

Oh on another note, I decided to make a big shopping trip today farther than I normally go. One of the places I went was El Rancho (boneless/skinless chicken breast for $.88/lb was enough to make me go but they had other great deals this week too) and I found huge bags of bananas (mine was about 10.5 lbs!) marked down to $1 for the whole bag!!! I was shocked. They were not all brown either. Mostly yellow still with some brown. My bag had one banana that was split open but the rest were fine. $1!!!! If I wasn’t going to be moving in a few months, I would have bought all the bags and mashed, measured them into 1 cup servings, and frozen to use for baking/smoothies.

  9. When my husband and I went to Texas for our honeymoon, we came across Blue Bell ice cream. You can’t get it here in Ohio. And it was the best!!! We’ve tried every other brand and nothing compares!

    • @Melinda, Aw, that’s so sweet! I hear that, too, from other northern folks. We sometimes take it for granted that you can pull up to any convenience store and grab a pint! Texas has some special claims to fame: Blue Bell, Dr Pepper, Frozen Margaritas… and many more!

  10. I was interested in the salmon, but when I got there, it looked old and watery. The mahi mahi was the same price (and looked better), so I got it instead.
