At my Kroger…. the coupon doesn’t work for the $2.50 package.
The coupon is for the 1 lb. size which is on sale for $3.99. It actually came out cheaper than the $2.50 sized package. I don’t know if that is a good price compared to other stores like WalMart or not though.

I saw quite a few things on the Mega Bucks sale that aren’t listed in the advertisement. Is there a way to get a complete list? Do they have it on their website somewhere that I’m missing? Of course, some of the items, even with a coupon, are still cheaper at WalMart I think.

Factoring in the sale prices, mega bucks, coupons and a few coupons from Kroger that we got in the mail (total 6.15), on my trip today, I got about $131 for $82 and feel like I got a pretty good selection of groceries for us. And, there was only one coupon that would’ve been doubled under the old policy so I only lost .50 there. I’m pleased. Now, if I can just get myself organized better so my planning doesn’t take so long. I can’t imagine how long it would take if I didn’t have this website! Thank you, Stephanie!

  2. Thank you for the match-ups! It makes my grocery list much easier. We live in a small, older home, so a stockpile isn’t realistic for my husband & I. Between the $5 off deal, coupons & kroger savings, I saved right at $25 today on a trip that included enough for 5 dinners, coffee, lettuce, & other things. Thanks again!
