Brookshire’s Deals 2/18 – 2/24
My Brookshire’s does not double/triple any coupons.
WooHoo! Brookshire’s is having another Moonlight Madness Sale with savings good Thursday, February 19th 4pm – 10pm ONLY! Look for the store coupons on the front page of the ad in the circular you got in the mail. If you didn’t get one or threw it away, it’s okay! They will have more of the ads in the store. These coupons include:
- $1 off any regular priced produce item ($1 value or more)
- $1 off any regular priced frozen food item ($1 value or more)
-
$1 off any regular priced health & beauty care item ($1 value or more)
- $1 off any regular priced deli item ($1 value or more)
- $1 off any regular priced bakery item ($1 value or more)
- $1 off any regular priced dairy item ($1 value or more)
- $2 off any regular priced food club laundry detergent, liquid 50 oz to 100 oz jug ($2 value or more)
- $2 off any regular priced dog food item, 4lbs or larger ($2 value or more)
All coupons are limit one (of each) per person though some stores will allow you to use multiples in separate transactions. Just don’t clear out the store!
One of the great things about these coupons is that they are store coupons and can be combined with manufacturer’s coupons!
Also, they say “regular priced” meaning no clearance or managers specials. It doesn’t mean you can’t use it on a sale item. For example, grapes are on sale for 99¢/lb. Buy slightly over 1 lb and use the $1 off produce coupon to get them for nearly free!
I love these sales, you can see how I did at one of their past Moonlight Madness Sales here! Here are some sale & coupon matchups:
Produce:
Fresh Blueberries 6 oz pkg $1.50
5 lb bag Red Potatoes $2.50
5 lb bag Russet Potatoes $1.99
California Sweet Navel Oranges 50¢
Northwest Apples 99¢/lb
California Lettuce $1.29
With any produce just buy as close to $1 worth as you can to get it for free or close to free with coupon.
Frozen Food:
There are so many frozen food items that are close to $1 that I can’t possibly give all the coupon match-ups.
Pull a few coupons to take with you so you can compare pricing in the store. Some popular frozen food brands/items are: Totinos, Birdseye, Banquet, Tyson, Pot Pies, Frozen Dinners (these are usually priced around $1), Ice Cream Bars, and Frozen Veggies. There are just so many items you can get for free with this coupon!!
Health & Beauty Care:
Check out the section with ponytail holders, combs, & compact mirrors. There are many items regularly priced $1. You can also pull manufacturer’s coupons for shampoo, toothpaste, aspirin, and makeup!
Deli:
Bring a calculater for this one! Pick your meat, figure the cost and ask for the amount of meat that will cost you $1 or more and get it for nearly free!
Bakery:
I think I remember there being loaves of french bread for $1 – $2. My kids always talk me into the chocolate chip mini muffins for $2.50!
Dairy:
This is the first time I’ve seen this one! Can be used on milk, yogurt, sour cream, etc!
Laundry Detergent and Dog & Cat Food:
I don’t see any that will end up free. Combine with manufacturer’s coupons for a better deal.

Thanks so much for this post. I’ve never shopped one of these sales because I didn’t know you could use the coupons on advertised prices. It made for some great deals!
Stephanie
Shelli,
I’ve never had this problem and I haven’t heard of any change. Perhaps it is just your Brookshire’s? Maybe ask the manager next time you are in.
Shelli
Stephanie,
The last time I went to Brookshires they wouldn’t allow me to combine the coupons with MC. Do you think they changed that policy?
