JCPenney Give Back Box: Declutter and Donate by Mail
Once donation centers opened back up after quarantine, they were inundated with items. After all, with nothing else to do, cleaning out your closet started to seem like a good (and maybe even fun) idea. But that led to a problem: warehouses filled up too quickly and many stores were forced to close to donations.
If you cleaned your house and put aside gently used items to donate, you might not have anywhere to donate them. Luckily, JCPenney partnered with Give Back Box to make it easier. You can pack gently used clothing and household items in any box you have lying around, print a free shipping label, and send it off. When you print the label, you can even choose to receive a receipt so that you can deduct your donations on your taxes. Now that’s a win-win!
