I am nearly done cooking! Though, I have lost steam and it’s taking me longer to get things done because I’m tired. I am encouraged though by how much I’ve accomplished! Nearly everything has been crossed off my list! I am having a bit of an egg crisis though and may not be able to finish one of the projects until tomorrow.
Here are some pics of my day:
Cooking Beans
Dough Rising
Cinnamon Rolls - Mmmmm!
My kids helping me make Stuffed Bread Sticks
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
Don’t make those muffins! Their chocolatey-pumpkiness is irresistible. You will become obsessed with them and want one every day for breakfast and a mid-afternoon snack. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Yes! Thank you Stephanie!
I have been holding off on this recipe. I live in Texas and have been trying to avoid making it on a hot day, but it's been cold lately so I've been considering doing it.
My second fear is ruining the recipe because I wasn't sure about the chicken!
Thanks!
@Bree, Ugh, I know what you mean about cooking when it's hot! Summer is rough for us because I cook very little due to the heat, lol. I hope you enjoy the recipe, it's one of my favorites!
Does the chicken have to be cooked before stirring it in? Does it matter if the chicken was frozen before hand? How would I go about doing this?
@Bree, For the chicken pot pie soup? I cook the chicken before-hand.
Awesome job, everything looks so delicious!
I am kickin around the idea of doing a cooking day myself. I haven't done one for a long time, all the kids left home and I am retired now. It has been just me and the hubs for the last four years until my son recently moved back home. I am cooking more so I might give it a try. Following your progress has inspired me!
Wow those stuffed breadsticks look awesome. Do you have a recipe?
Stephanie,

Thanks for the tip about the chocolate chip pumpkin muffins receipe. My 4-YO daughter and I are hosting a friend for tea time tommorow afternoon, and I was looking for something more seasonal than our usual hum-drum scones. These will do the trick! I also love the idea of Baking Day. Looking forward to doing this once I have enough room in my pantry to stockpile my ingredients!
