Amazon Prime Day is fast approaching! The online shopping giant just announced that Prime Day is July 15 and 16 this year. Yes, two days!
In case you aren’t already familiar with it, Amazon Prime Day is an annual celebration that honors Amazon’s birthday by featuring thousands of deals. While it was first introduced just a few years ago, the event has quickly become a fan favorite. However, finding the deals can be a little tricky, and you may need to act fast.
Here’s what you need to know to find the best deals on Prime Day.
To participate in Prime Day, you must be an Amazon Prime member. But when deals are on the line, you don’t want to be left scrambling to set up an Amazon Prime subscription. If you want to participate in Prime Day but you’re not already a member of Prime, you should sign up before the event begins to save yourself time. If you don’t think you’ll want to continue your membership after Prime Day, you can simply sign up for the free 30-day trial and cancel before the trial period ends.
While we won’t know all the deals ahead of time, big Amazon sales like Prime Day usually share some common features. One of the most notable things to watch for is deals on Amazon’s own product lines. Amazon traditionally offers great deals on Kindle, Echo, Fire, and other products it produces. While you’ll also find plenty of other deals on the site, Amazon usually offers some of the best deals on its own products.
Amazon has been known to offer some good deals ahead of Prime Day, so start checking in the days leading up to the event.
Prime Day has gotten so big that other retailers have gotten in on the act by offering good sales around the same time. When you have a little downtime from your Amazon shopping, check out some of your other favorite retailers, like Target, Kohl’s, and Old Navy. While there are no guarantees, you might notice some particularly good deals at other retailers during Prime Day.
With these deals, you can make the most out of Prime Day. Happy shopping!
