It’s official! The 2009 – 2010 school year has begun! Even though we homeschool, I still experience the stress and excitement of back-to-school time! Purchasing school supplies, lesson planning, and getting back into a normal routine (as in, waking up before noon….) are just a few of the things I’ve been scrambling to do these last couple of weeks. And now it’s here – my son is an official kindergartner!
Even though my son doesn’t go to public school, we still collect box tops. It is such a great way to help the schools, and we can’t just throw them away! After all, each box top is worth 10¢ to a school! That may not sound like much, but did you know that Box Tops has helped America’s schools earn over $250 million in the past 12 years? You can find Box Tops on products all over your home like Cheerios, Huggies, Totinos, Ziploc, Cottonelle, and more!
When you visit the Box Tops Website you can enter to win a back-to-school prize pack as well as a chance to win 5,000 Bonus Box Tops for your child´s school, free Pillsbury Toaster Strudel and Totino´s Pizza Rolls, and school supplies from Box Tops´ newest partner, Avery.
I also have a “Top This” prize pack to give away to one of my readers courtesy of My Blog Spark!

once that rush to the bus is over and i get to sit at the table with absolute quiet and that first cup morning coffee.
I love getting the kids all dressed up the first day and taking photos. Each year we look at the photos from the past to see how much they've grown.

my favorite thing about the new school year this year is that my baby starts kindergarten this year and gets to go to school with her brothers, so she feels like a BIG girl now! having her brothers walk her to class is so cute to watch!
The first days of school were exciting because it's a new school for my daughter, and she was able to make friends right off the bat!!
I follow your blog.
