Here’s what to do to get your $50 bonus:
I just recently signed up for a Capital One 360 Checking account and absolutely love it. There are NO fees and NO minimum balances. You can use it as a secondary account and link it to your main banking account. You could use it as a designated savings account, such as Holiday savings. 🙂

Is this for new customers only? I had an account with ING, which got took over by this bank.
Yes, it's for new account sign-ups. I think it's limit one per household. ING became Capital One.
A little confused. I've heard other people say it will be good as a second bank account too. Does this mean it shouldn't be used as the main bank account? If so, why?
Probably because it's an online banking system. It's more of a "virtual" bank account than an actual branch location near you. It's super easy to transfer money to and from your main account, so it works well as a savings or secondary account for many people.
Thank-you for the reply :)
I don't think i"ve stepped inside my brick and mortar bank in the past four years. This sounds great for me! :) thanks.
