I have a question about the Pepsi deal (Buy $15, get a $5 ECB). Do they calculate the $15 before coupons?

I have question…when you buy one product that has an ECB can you use that a ECB to buy another product that has an ECB?

@Jaime, yes they don’t have any stipulations on ecb’s like Wags does with their RR except for their limit. You can even do the same deal with an ecb from that deal. Like with the Colgate deal this week there is a limit of 2 so you can buy one then use the ecb to buy another.

So with the Pepsi, Nestle and Nivia products, can you only do one of those promotions per trip? Or one for each brand?

@Courtney, You can do one of each deal per household (not trip). So each of those things that you mentioned are different deals so you could do one of each. But as far as different brands within those deals (like Tostitos and Pepsi), they all count towards the same deal so you would only be able to get one ecb from it.

I am sooo sad. I was really sick and was unable to get my Sunday paper in time. I live in a tiny town and they sell out quick. Figures there would be five inserts. Just my luck. 🙁

$0.99 cent for 3 bar package they took the $1.00 off any 1 ivory soap or bodywash from P&G May 01 so I used 4 coupons and all were FREE~!

Hi,
I got laid off and rely solely on my husband’s income to provide for us and our two kids. I LOVE couponing and think it is God sent. I went to my Dallas, TX CVS today to redeem a raincheck for ONE Dove+Men Care deodorant they had on ad the week prior. I had ONE $1 off coupon left so I was using it to get a free deoderant. I only get 2 papers to start and if they have really good coupons I get 2 more because I have 4 family members. I had a very lengthy conversation with the cashier at CVS who told me during the ad promo on last Sunday morning people were lined outside the door before the store opened to purchase the deodorant. Some customers had carts full of deodorant where as others could not get any. The limit was 5/customer but it was not printed with the ad. Once they were informed there was a limit, some customers wanted to do 5 0r more transactions of 5. She stated that customers were arguing with the cashier, with each other as well as calling corporate while in the store and arguing with them! She said the main problem was with “those couponers.” Also, they are no longer taking internet coupons because of fraud! Could you please do another home page blog about the difference between “COUPONING and GREED!!!!” Just because a person has 20 coupons for an item does not mean that person should get ALL 20 items at once when there are many behind them without any! I am afraid stores will stop accepting coupons all together because of so many issues.

@Lawanda, It really does stink(no pun intended) for the people who are using coupons to simply save money for their family and not to hoard. A lot of stores in my area are starting to have stricter coupon policies because of the droves of couponers coming out and wiping shelves of free items. IMHO that was CVSs fault for not advertising the limit 5 and as far as multiple transactions go I dont think it should be allowed, where is the line drawn between a good deal and fraud KWIM?

@Ransom, a lot of stores (mine included) will take the coupon up to a week past expiration, and a lot of times they don’t ding anyways during that period so most cashiers don’t even pay attention.
