Daily Frugal Tip: 10 Uses For Mason Jars
Check out Coupon Teacher’s post on 10 different uses for mason jars! This is great. I love it when one object has many different uses. I personally love the idea of using mason jars to store dry grains and legumes. I’ve never thought of that!
These are cheap to buy in bulk, too. (Or FREE if you buy foods that come in mason jars 😉 )
Thanks, Coupon Teacher!

Do you get candy in decorative glass jars for gifts? I use those for bagged nuts, bagged dried beans, dried macaroni, etc.. The Christmas etching remains, but that can be covered with a label. It keeps the cabinets free from spills.

Loved the Mason jar tips. For dry goods such as beans, chocolate chips (yes!!), pasta etc, Food Saver makes an attachment for their proucts that allows you to vacuum seal mason jars to keep everything fresh. There are 2 sizes and each is around only $9…..awesome! Learned this great tip from another blogger who seals up crackers, cookies and candy besides the regular grains. Even asked for it for my Birthday I loved the idea so much!
