  • I really thought this was an excelent suggestion especially coming upon earth week!
Eating less meat does not only cost lest, but you will be doing amazing things for your environment. Because primarily if you are shopping for deals on meat chances are you are not wanting to pay what it costs for a Free Range Chicken or Grass Feed Beef, some more sustainable options, but probably tend to purchase what is the run of the mill, everyday meat that has been approved by your U.S. Food and Drug Administration. But it was about a year ago I became more aware of how our meat is not only raised, but processed. Welcome to the knowledge of FACTORY FARMING. Check out some information on it because I am not against eating meat. I just don't want to eat meat that has been raised in an inhumane way, locked up, fatened up beyond natural and then processed in such a way that puts my family health at risk. I only started to really research this as I was starting to prepare non-baby food for my twin girls who were not interested in meat anyway. So we have found lots of great, tasty, and economic ways to substitute those nutrients, like protien and iron. REALLY hope this sparks some interest out there!

  • At least once a week, preferably two! I do think it helps save money. =)
