Daily Frugal Tip: Make Homemade Antibacterial Cleaner
Here is a recipe for homemade antibacterial spray cleaner: Mix one or two drops of liquid antibacterial soap with 1/4 cup of white vinegar in a spray bottle, then fill the rest of the way with water. Can be used for daily cleaning and is cheaper than what you can buy in stores!

I love the idea of homemade antibacterial cleaner… but this sounds like it’s too dilute to be effective as an anti-bacterial cleaner. A better solution is 1 part bleach to 10 parts water in a used Tilex spray bottle. Bleach is photoreactive (bleach and light don’t work and play well with each other – which is why all bleach products, even the cheap ones, come in opaque bottles) so it will break down if you try to do this in a clear bottle. Spray on any colorfast surface and wipe clean.
For that matter – Tilex is little more then equal parts household bleach and water, so once you’ve got the empty spray bottle, you can make your own cleaner for pennies on the dollar.
