Today’s frugal tip is to try your hand at making homemade power bars! The nuts and dried fruits can definitely be expensive to buy, but it’s still much cheaper per bar to make them yourself than to buy the brand-name at the store.
You can look on Pinterest to find all kinds of power bar recipes. I’ve made many of them myself, and they’re delicious. They’re also very easy to make ahead of time and store in the fridge or at room-temp.
