Have any old pants hangers lying around? If so, saw off the ends and use the “clippy” part to make chip clips! What a great way to re-purpose something you already have on hand.
You could also use clothespins as chip clips. Regardless, there’s definitely no reason to pay money for the actual “chip clips” at the store. We have other frugal options here.
Thanks, Happy Clippings!

Great idea! One question though.I have arthritis in my hands. Are the hangers easy to saw off? Does anyone have a suggestion for the easiest way to do this?
This is awesome!
And they work AWESOME!! We started doing this about 2 months ago and they work so well they make a really tight seal and keep chips fresh!
What a creative idea. One of those where u think "why didn't I think of that!" When stores ask me if I want those hangers I will say yes. Thank you
Whoa! This rocks! Must share on my page!
