Eye-Fi Wireless SD Memory Card Giveaway

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to take a picture only to have a message on my camera saying my memory card was full.  It’s pretty frustrating!  If you, like me, have moments like those then you might be interested in an Eye-Fi!

Eye-Fi is a wireless SD memory card with up to 8GB of class 6 memory PLUS built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi. (Did your eyes cross when you read that? Mine did.) I may not “speak techie”, but basically the Eye-Fi is just like any other memory card but it has the added capability to wirelessly upload your pictures to your computer.

Eye-Fi is the easiest way to get your pictures off your camera and on to your computer.  You just turn your camera on and the Eye-Fi uses your wireless internet to automatically transfer the pictures to your computer and organize them by date.  You can also upload them directly to your favorite photo sharing site like Facebook or Flickr without even having your computer on.  You won’t ever have to worry about running out of space with the Endless Memory feature.

    I would get one simply because I always seem to run out of memory when I need it the most. I am always deleting photos on my card just so I can take others – thus the Eye Fi would be perfect!

    I would buy one for my husband. He is the one who uploads all of our pictures and he usually forgets until we are going out the door that the memory card is full! Then we have to sit there and wait till he’s done and by then our three kids are no longer ready to go!

    I would buy and awesome Eye-Fi for my hubby because him and our kids go out on the boat a lot, and they can only take 40 pics on our current camera. Small right, well with this Eye-Fi they will be able to take a LOT more!

    My husband is in the Military stationed down inj El Paso Tx, and we just had our newest daughter 6 weeks ago! I’m staying in Pa because he has a ton of Field Duty over the next few months and our only contact is our blackberrys… he can access facebook and email on it and this would help tremendously!!! I can just see his face getting new pictures sent to his phone of our 4 yr old and newborn sooo quickly!!! Oh what a great gift this would be! This would truly help him get hrough the next few months 🙂 he asks me every chance he gets to use his phone for new pictures 🙂

I have a ton of vintage jewelry that I need to sell on line but taking the pictures then putting them on my computer, then make up the description and load the pictures is a long process. With this sd cards it would be easier@

    I would buy an Eye-Fi Wireless SD Memory Card for my husband (but it would really be for both of us) so that he could finally put his pictures on the computer. He is to proud to ask for help so he just gives up when he can not figure out how to upload the pictures from the camera to the computer (I mean this man is truly computer illiterate). What a great gift for him.

    This would make a great present for my father-in-law! He is one of those people who is very difficult to buy for, but this is something he doesn’t have and would really use. I also could use one myself because I always forget to delete pictures after I download then I don’t know which pictures I have downloaded :).

    A memory card with built in internet, WOW! I would buy one for my daughter for all the times I got a great shot of a friend of her’s only to miss her moment to shine. The times are numerous and she has been very forgiving. She participated in the school spelling bee. Our neighbor also participated and I noticed the parents weren’t there so I recorded the neighbor. Unfortunately, when it was my daughter’s turn, the memory card was full. Another time, it was the awards ceremony at her school. I was a proud mom watching alongside other mom’s. One mom left because she didn’t think her child was going to get an award. Well when they called her daughter’s name I decided I would get a little snippet for the mom, so she wouldn’t miss out. Again, when my daughter’s name was called for 3 awards, my card was full. The last story I will share happened just this week. Our local pool opened and my daughter and her friends went for the grand-opening. I got some great shots of the friends but when my daughter got in the pool…memory full!! Scrapbooking is a lot of fun and my daugther enjoys it but she would love to have some pictures of herself to go along with the ones of her friends!!!

    Since I’m the one who archives pictures for 1) My sister’s family 2) The deaf ministry at church, 3) the hearing-impaired department at school and 4) (per my aunt’s recent request) the paternal side of my family (photos of family gatherings)…… I think I would buy it for myself.

    What a blessing this would be for my wife who is technically challenged in electronics. When she attempts to download pics it will take her up to 30 minutes to remember how the card transfer works.

I’m always taking pictures of my kids around the house and when we are out and about and I always worry about running out of space on my SD card and its a hassle trying to upload pics right away. For this reason I have a couple of sd cards that I carry w/ me (i also keep extra charged batteries on hand) This would be a life saver for me!!

    I would get myself one since I do take pictures pretty often and this would just make it an easier process to transfer pictures. I would get one for my parents so that they don’t have to sort through cables to connect from camera to computer. It’ll be easier with the “endless memory” and not worry about always transferring photos and videos!

    I would give it to both my parents as an olive branch, it seems like everytime i talk to either one of them they are fighting over who filled up “the card”! I’m afriad to ask for photos, for fear of being the cause of WWIII.

    Currently I have a memory card but it only holds a few pictures (came with the camera) and I take pictures of my 5 month old, but between downloading to my computer and then deleting can be troublesome at times.
