3 Free E-books on Racial Justice
Understanding is valuable, but that doesn’t mean it has to be expensive. While there are quite a few excellent books on the market to help you understand racism and racial justice, your finances may have taken a hard hit from COVID-19. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly way to learn more, free ebooks might be just what you’re looking for!
Here are some options we found:
- “The End of Policing” – This book examines how policing has changed over the years. It also suggests alternatives to traditional policing.
- “Who Do You Serve, Who Do You Protect?” – This is a collection of essays on police violence.
- University of Minnesota Press – In response to recent events, the University of Minnesota Press has made dozens of antiracist ebooks free through August 31.
Many libraries also have ebooks you can borrow for free. And if your local library doesn’t have antiracist books, speak or write to your librarian to make suggestions!
