I spied this fun idea on Pinterest the other day and immediately had to try it out! It turned out to be a very easy, frugal, and fun activity that entertained my 8 and 6 year olds for about an hour.
You’ll need:
Baking Soda
Vinegar
Food Coloring
Baking Sheet/Pan
Dropper
Line a baking sheet with a layer of baking soda. Add food coloring to cups of vinegar. Let the children use the droppers to make pictures in the baking soda with the colored vinegar.
So much fun! Easy cleanup too!

You can also use it to scrub the tub clean when their done!
Before dumping all the baking soda in the trash, consider saving it in a gallon ziptop bag to add to kids' bath water. 1 cup of baking soda per average-sized bath helps soften the skin and alleviate dryness due to sun, wind, etc. It's also good to help soothe eczema itchiness.
What a GREAT idea!! Thank you!
