My 8 year old son got to try out the Optimus Prime Transformer set and he absolutely loved it. He kept asking me “do I really get to KEEP this, Mom?”. He was a little disappointed that it didn’t actually transform (you can build either the robot OR the vehicle), but he still enjoyed building the robot and disassembling it to build the truck. The directions were also easy to follow and he was able to build the robot with no problem.

    I can’t believe someone is doing a giveaway on Transformers! My dad introduced my son to the Transformers when the first movie came out. Since then I’ve had a transformer crazed son running around talking about Bumblebee and Optimus Prime and the Decepticons. Winning this prize would mean a lot for his Christmas and for me as a single parent who wants to give my child everything.     My son has had a rough time wih his dad being deployed and now not being home for Christmas like we were told he would be. Believe it or not, the transformers movie has helped us through this tough time. My son watched it and instantly fell In love with the bumblebee, he was a transformer for Halloween and won, made his day. This toy would make my son so happy while his dad is far away.

    I am the “Prime” candidate to “transform” into parent of the year with this gift! As Christmas approaches, we are on the “prowl” for a gift we can “sideswipe” for our little “autobots”. A great deal like this seems like it could be a “mirage” but our cool factor would “slingshot” us into the number one spot. We don’t want to “groove” or “swerve”, but wouldn’t mind a “broadside” with the happy news that the toy is ours.     Kre-O sets are awesome…. I too homeschooled my children and when they entered college, they were way ahead of young adults their age. I am happy to say that they graduated from the University of Colorado this last year and are on their way to becoming great adults! These Kre-O sets can be used to demonstrate science, architecture, art and even physics. I would love to be chosen to receive this Transformer Prime!

    It sounds odd, but even though my boyfriend is well past the age where toys like this should be considered an appropriate gift, I feel that there’s this little piece of his childhood he’s trying to hold onto that he’s had to give up in the last several years and I want to encourage that– plus, he can pass it down to his new little sister who will be here soon in the future, because why should a Transformer be restricted to boys?
