I hope this isn’t too nosy, but how do you get these free items? Do the makers of the Couponizer, Keurig, Cansolidator and Coleman send you their products because you have a blog and its a trial run or is it because you are a loyal customer?
I hope I’m not being nosy here, but I’ve seen other blogs post about receiving free items and was wondering.

@Bree, They send me products to try in hopes that I will share my experience with the product on my blog. For the companies it is a means of advertising and creating buzz about their products. For me it is a way of giving free goodies to my readers (I don’t accept products unless you guys get something too!). I turn down far more free products than I accept though because I cannot honestly endorse them or if they do not fit with my site. I always give my honest opinions in the post (my integrity and the trust from my readers is far more important to me than getting a free product!!) regardless of whether or not I received a free product. I have outlined my disclosure policy here: https://www.couponing101.com/disclosure-policy and I always disclose if I received the free product in the post. I have been meaning to re-write my disclosure policy for a while though, to make it a little more understandable (I want my policies plain as day, ya know?). If you have any more questions, I am happy to answer!!
