Halloween Crafts for Kids Under 10
It’s creepy. It’s spooky. So of course, Halloween is the perfect holiday for kids to enjoy! Younger children might not be ready for the scares that some older kids like, but kids of all ages can enjoy putting together Halloween crafts. Kids under 10 will really enjoy these crafts, and none of them are horrifyingly complicated.
Pumpkin Guts Slime via Crafty Morning
So many kids are obsessed with slime, that we had no choice but to include this slime recipe on the list. This recipe produces slime that looks a lot like pumpkin guts, so it’s a great alternative to letting your child play with the real thing. If you have a kid who tries to eat things they shouldn’t, you might want to provide extra supervision to make sure this slime doesn’t seem too appetizing.
Pony Bead Pumpkins via Cutesy Crafts
These little pumpkins are composed of pipe cleaners and pony beads, but they look a lot more complicated to make than they really are. This project makes the list because it is easy enough for kids to make, but the results can look like the sort of things you see at craft shows.
Paper Cup Flying Ghost Craft via Kids Craft Room
We can’t resist including this project on the list because it produces such cute ghosts that you can use to decorate your home. The main components are quite simple: white paper cups and white paper. And if your kid loves making them, they would look great hung as a garland!
Mummy Paper Plate Lacing Craft via Our Kid Things
Mummies. They aren’t quite as ubiquitous as pumpkins and ghosts, but they definitely look like Halloween. We like this craft because it includes very few special supplies, so you might be able to do it with items you already have in your house. Plus, it can help kids practice their fine motor skills.
