Protests over George Floyd’s death have drawn more attention to the issue of systemic racism. In light of recent events, Warner Bros. has announced that it will make “Just Mercy” free on digital platforms for the remainder of June.
“Just Mercy” is a 2019 legal drama that tells the true story of attorney Bryan Stevenson (played by Michael B. Jordan) and his fight to appeal the wrongful murder conviction of Walter McMillian (played by Jamie Foxx).
