The months are growing colder, and with that, outdoor play is soon going to be limited (or even non-existent). Cooler weather, early darkness, and pumpkin spice galore. Luckily, there are still a few more weeks of nice weather left for you and your family to enjoy some last minute outdoor activities!
1.) Have a Picnic. This is a great activity to do with your family or friends. Grab a blanket, some food, and good company and you’re sure to have great fun. The best part is, it can be super affordable since the food can be homemade!
2.) Go to a Drive in Movie. If you’re lucky enough to live in a town that has a drive-in movie theater, then what are you waiting for? These are a perfect way to spend time with your family, and the cool brisk evenings that are now here will make it even more enjoyable. Bring a blanket, you may need it!
3.) Go on a Hike. This is one of those activities with the family that needs to be done when the weather is good. Jump on a quick weekend hike while you still have some warm days left on the calendar.
4.) Go Golfing. Fore! Head out to the greens to play a full 18 or just go to the range to hit a bucket of balls. Not only are you outdoors to enjoy the weather, but this is a very relaxing sport!
5.) Play Sports. Other than golfing already mentioned, of course, grab a ball and head out on the fields for some fun and friendly games of soccer, baseball, basketball, or football. Enjoy the grass before the puddles form!
We all know Mother Nature is pretty unpredictable, so jump on the opportunity to enjoy the last of the warm days!
