Redbox 101
Have you heard of Redbox? It’s those big RED movie machines that you see popping up at grocery stores and drugstores. For just $1 + tax you can get a movie rental for one night! Just make sure to bring it back by 9pm the following day! There are no late fees, you will only be charged $1 + tax for each night you keep the movie. You can also return the movie to any Redbox location – not just the one you rented it from.
Redbox periodically sends special offers to customers who have signed up to receive emails. Redbox also sends a promo code every Monday to customers who have signed up to receive SMS text messages.
Just follow the three steps below to redeem your code at any participating Redbox:
- Touch “RENT WITH A PROMO CODE” on the lower left-hand corner of the redbox touch screen and enter the code.
- Make your DVD selections and add them to your cart
- Your discount will be applied during check out
You will need a credit card to rent the movie but you will only be charged if you keep it an additional day. Be sure to enter your email address if you want them to send you a receipt.
You can only use the promo code once per debit/credit card, so use another card if you want to rent an additional movie!
You can also reserve your movie online, but they are currently unable to honor promo codes for online reservations made on redbox.com.
