  • The penny deals started today at the DFW location I went to. Eraser tips, Bic Pens, and Glue were all one cent with a limit of two (or 25 if you're a teacher). They also had all purpose/printer paper for 25c (limit 2) after Easy Rebates. Got 'em all!

  • For those in the D/FW area, the Highlighters are listed in this week's ad for $1 per 5/pack -- there is no Easy Rebate involved. The price has simply been marked down to $1.

Also, the 2011 Staples Back-to-School Savings Card is $10 in our area, for a 15% savings from 7-3- through 9-17-11. In order to get that $10 back, you have to spend at least $67 ($67 X 15% = $10.05), and there are restrictions.

    :+)

  • Im in southern california and we do not have these deals. What cities are these offered in? I want to print it out and take it to my local staples and see if they will price match! Thanks

  • I called staples and they said that it would be up to the store if they wanted to honor these sales from another region. I am in DWF and we don't have these cool deals.

  • I was in Staples yesterday and picked up the deal info on the 15% off school supplies. I live in J'ville FL, so I don't know if this is different for others. You buy a back to school savings pass for only $5 and save 15% all season long on school supplies including: Calculators, backpacks, pens, pencils, binders, and much more. Available in store only and while supplies last. Valid once per day. 7/3/11-9/17/11. Excludes technology, ink and toner, flash drives, case paper, furniture, food, cell phones and plans, services, postage stamps, gift cards or phone cards. Also, the pass cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

    • Hang on. I just noticed the website says to purchase the card for $10...but the offer the employee gave me yesterday from a pad in the atrium says purchase for $5.

  • I visited my staples today, and they didn't have the .50 pencil boxes or clipboards. Are these prices published somewhere so I can show them? I would love to take advantage of these special prices. Thanks so much!

  • Is your store participating in this? The sale is regional and my store is doing the $1 sale instead and I am in the DFW area.

    • @Jen, Staples Easy Rebates print on receipt tape after your receipt. Your receipt, a rebate receipt (in case you want to send it in the mail), and a rebate form will print. You can fill out for the rebate online using just a few numbers off of the receipt and form. They will send you a check in a month or two. Sometimes (read fine print) the rebate will be for a Staples giftcard or a prepaid giftcard instead but usually it is just for a check. Hope that helps :)
