I went to my local Walgreens today and after picking up the two free deals, I browsed through the clearance food section. I found small jars of Planters peanut butter with no price. When I asked the manager, he gave me the price of 90 cents a jar. When paired with the Planters $1.50/2 coupon, I got 4 jars for 60 cents! Not bad!
The Walgreens by my house is terrible with coupons. They would not take their Mucinex coupon. They said only 42 ct caplets. I thought it was Mucinex Max or Mucinex DM caplets, 42ct. At this store though everyone has to defend their coupon use. I had the right kind and everything. A shopper behind me was like "they do it to everybody in this store"
Hey I wanted to try to let everyone know that also at walgreens there is a prescription savings club anyone can sign up for, it can help out with saving money on tons of medications- even for pets. It also is a huge bonus if you buy walgreens brand items, what it does it take 10% of every walgreens brand item you buy in a transaction and take that money off of your next transaction. I thought it was an awesome deal! And in the month on January, at least the walgreens by my house, it is $5.00 to sign up for your card for the whole year (normally 20) and it is $10.00 for a family card (normally $30.00) and for that you can put your name, your spouse and any children. Just have the cashier swipe it under their credit/debit option number 5 for every transaction you make! Also stop by the pharmacy and see it might save you tons on any prescriptions you may have!
