I was wondering about "filler" items at Walgreens. Can you explain how the number of coupons and number of items is calculated.
For example:
The Scotch packaging tape @ Walgreens, I believe, is normally $3.50. There's an in-ad coupon that you can get 2 for $3 (limit 4). I have 4 manufacturers Qs for $1/1. How are the coupons counted? Does the Walgreens Q get counted twice, since I'm using it twice? Do I need filler items? Thank you so much for your help!
@Jamie, Walgreens coupons are not counted toward your coupon total. Only manufacturer coupons and register rewards count. If you're buying 4 tape and using 1 walgreens coupon and 4 manufacturers coupons then you shouldn't need any fillers. :)
@Stephanie, I tried this deal at Walgreens, and the machine will not let this go through because there were too many coupons. The manager had to override.
