Do you know if Wal-mart has a limit of coupons they will take??
I went today and since I had alot of coupons( 20 of the same coupon) I got into a line with no one behind me and when a girl walked up I told her I had alot of coupons, anyways, the cashier was very nice ringing up my purchases but gave me "the Look" when I handed her the coupons..
I bought: 5 Lysol no touch soaps(rollback $5 had 5 -$3 off coupons)
3 purex 3-in 1 detergent ($4.97- 3- $3 off coupons)
20 sticky notes at $1 each (had 20 -$1 off coupons Free!) &
3 Disposable hand towels $2.97 (3 -$1 off coupons)
she kept saying are you sure those coupons aren't expired?
I think you can only use one of each, so after 5 minutes, she said I'll have to get a manager, I can't take all these sticky note coupons, so I said sure go ahead and get it ok'ed, I used 20 last week on dog food and they ok'ed it..so it takes 10 minutes really 10 minutes for the CSM to come over and she says No, you can't use more than 1 coupon on a like item, and I said since when?
show me your policy, and she says well, you can but we have to do each sticky note as a seperate transaction and you pay tax on each seperate, well, I said Ok, let's void all this out I have all day but the people waiting probably don't (they have 2 checkouts open 2, and the self checkouts) there were literally 8 people in line behind me and some had left for another line....
so she finally ok'ed it,, my prize :; $68 worth of mdse. for $23 .
@Rhonda Hall, There is NO limit, however, if you use a certain # of coupons (or save a certain amount with coupons - can't ever remember which!) then a CS will have to come over and approve your transaction. It is a pain, but I can understand why they do this.
