Walmart: Hasbro Game Deal with Big Lots Price Match

Big Lots has some great deals advertised this coming week (9/18 – 9/24). Big Lots does NOT accept manufacturer’s coupons, so I recommend price matching these deals at Walmart!

Skittles Wild Berry, 14 oz $1.80
$1/1 Skittles Printable Coupon (manufacturer coupon)
= 80¢

Toy Story 3 Operation $5
– $4/1 Hasbro Operation, Guess Who?, Connect 4 or Battleship Game Coupon (9/11 SS)
= $1

Battleship $5
– $4/1 Hasbro Operation, Guess Who?, Connect 4 or Battleship Game Coupon (9/11 SS)
= $1

Apple and Eve Juice Boxes, 8 pk $1.80
$1/2 Apple and Eve Juice Printable Coupon
= $1.30

All Laundry Detergent (3x 32 oz, or 2x 50 oz) $3
– $1/1 All Laundry Detergent Coupon (8/28 RP)
= $2

Please note – not all Walmart stores will price match Big Lots ads. Please call your store first to confirm. Walmart does not require you to bring the ad in to get the price match, but I recommend you bring it anyway. Also, you must purchase the exact item pictured to get the price match, so if your Walmart does not carry the pictured items then you are out of luck.

Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!

  1. I went to Walmart tonight and got a regular Operation, Cars Operation, Monopoly Electronic game, Sorry, and Battleship with the Big Lots ad and my coupons for $4 plus tax. When I did the price match, I showed them the wording of the ad that said Selection of games may vary by store. Boxed games values up to 19.99, and made sure I picked out boxed games under 19.99. They honored it.

Then the register scanned my coupons in as $2 and $3, so when I asked, a manager came over and told me they could not accept coupons on price matches. I said I had never had that problem before, and pulled out my binder with the coupon and Price match policies and told her their policies do not say that. She said that was just what she had been told, and I offered to give her my copies to show whoever. She said it was not necessary and had my order voided and rerang. This time it was right.

    • I was told that too but then I called and spoke to the manager and they told me they do ad match big lots. I guess it is just managers discretion.

  2. Wow! Last week, I used the 2 toy coupons to buy the games for $8 each at Target, and I received 2 free (2.99) Market Pantry pizzas. These are awesome deals!
