This is a simple guide to getting the best deals when shopping at Wayfair. We’ll talk about their rewards program, seasonal sales and more.
If you have tips and tricks of your own for shopping Wayfair like a pro, drop a comment to share the wealth!
They have pretty good prices on furniture and decor as it is, but I personally won’t buy something from Wayfair unless it’s got a red price indicating that it’s been marked down. This is because no matter what item or category you’ve got your eye on, it won’t be long before a sale or deal comes around for it.
Trust me on this one! Unless you’re in an urgent hurry or it’s a clearance item that will be taken off the site soon, I’d recommend you bookmark it and keep an eye out for a deal. Try it for a week and if nothing happens, go ahead and buy your item — it’s probably a great price to begin with anyway 🙂
The best way to stay on top of Wayfair’s flash sales and events is to subscribe to their email newsletter. To do this, log into your free Wayfair customer account, go to My Account, and under Preferences, adjust your Email Subscription settings so that you receive the Limited Time Deals newsletter.
A similar strategy is to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, but depending on how many accounts you follow on the platform, you may not see the Wayfair deal posts until it’s too late.
This free program is a way to earn Rewards Dollars that can be used on future purchases from Wayfair, Joss & Main, AllModern, and Birch Lane.
There are three ways to earn Rewards Dollars:
This membership program is designed to make shopping for your home easier and more affordable than ever. For just $29.99 per year, you’ll unlock a host of members-only benefits that could end up paying for your membership fee and then some!
Member perks include:
Sign up right here and start enjoying your membership perks instantly on Wayfair as well as its sister sites: AllModern, Joss & Main, and Birch Lane.
MyWay will automatically renew and charge the membership fee on your sign-up anniversary each year unless you opt out. If you’re revamping your entire house this year and won’t be needing these perks the year following, make sure to go to the My Account page to opt out of auto-renewal before you forget! Even if you opt out the day after you join, you’ll continue to receive the membership benefits for the full first year that you paid for.
If you plan to shop at Wayfair a lot, you may want to look into opening a Wayfair Credit Card. There is no annual fee and you’ll be able to choose between two offers on every order: 3% back or special 36-month financing.
One thing that’s cool about this credit card is that you can use it for purchases on Wayfair as well as all of its sister sites: Joss & Main, AllModern, Birch Lane and Perigold. And as stated above, any purchase made with this card will earn Rewards Dollars that can be used on future purchases.
At the time of posting, there is also a $40 Introductory Offer for signing up. If you spend $250 or more on your first credit card purchase (and don’t opt for 36-month financing), you’ll get an automatic $40 off that first order! This offer cannot be combined with any other offers, so be sure to weigh all the promo codes and specials available at the time of purchase and make sure it’s the best deal you can get.
As with all credit cards, you should always think about whether or not you really need it, or if you might use it to spend beyond your means. Credit cards like these can be really beneficial (3% back can add up when it comes to furniture!) but they can also be very dangerous.
